When you open the ice cream maker, you'll find the 'Off-Site Copy' Filament Memory. You can make the check easier by wearing gloves and by cutting power to the ice cream maker (by unplugging the black cable from the nearby breaker box). I'll be sure to let you know if I find any further bug instances because save-editing always feels like such a Pandora's Box to me lol, hope this helped at least though. white checks modifiers bug (i guess so) so I have a few important white checks locked (opening the ice cream maker, the talk with Morell to get the next quest etc.) and I have reached max of the skill required, so I cant unlock them the usual way. To open it up, you'll need to equip the Kvalsund KR+2 Multi-Tool and pass a 'heroic' Physical Instrument check. I also went and failed the dicemaker's legendary shivers check, ran The Litany of Contact Mike, and confirmed that the check reopened afterwards, whereas when I had tried Contact Mike before it had gotten stuck and not reopened any checks, so I believe this fixes the issue. When I went back into the game my Phyical Instrument was maxed out at 6 (instead of maxed at 5 like it had been when I had saved) and the ice cream container check had unlocked. Wearing gloves will give Harry a better grip on the tool and make it easier. I followed the instructions for editing a save from this thread - I was also stuck on the ice cream container, so I changed the maximumValue of Physical Instrument from my current 5 up to 6 - just doing that didn't work so I went and made it logically consistent by editing one of the listings for a Thought (can't remember which sorry) so that its bonus to Physical Instrument was one higher. When attempting to open the ice cream maker to retrieve the filament, equipping the Kvalsund KR+2 Multi-Tool (which can be borrowed from Soona) is required, as the Prybar is not strong enough. What in the handling is more realistic? I'm curious. What in the sound do you find more realistic? Why do you think Timewarp is more realistic than Arturias version? I don't understand your statement that Timewarp is more realistic if the Timewarp sound like in the video. Perhaps one need to tweak, use the possibilities and work on the sound. In general I love the sound from arturia synths, and I'm not only impressed by the design of the pluginsīased on the sounds of the original that i can come across, then i'd say Arturias ARP 2600 can come quite close in sound in many aspects. So if you're interested in 'realisticness' then you can try the timewarp but if its about the creativity then arturia is just fine. What is better with the arp2600 v3 is that there is a sequencer which gives you another million possibilities. It is closer to the original in sound and in handling. I bought also the timewarp 2600 and it is really different to the arp 2600v3. Some people write that the ARP 2600V3 is sounding nothing like the original (lol) but from what I hear in the videos it sounds really good. Yea sure, analog sounds grittier and rougher but you can get this with other plugins that emulate analog effects. I mean you could easily create almost exact the same sound with a plugin if you invest time in the patch. Well, after all I think this discussion about 'sound' and the comparison between the sound of plugins and analog is so overrated. Hey, also thanks for the vids I had to laugh hard at the frogs
It’s hard to estimate how much they took, but blood samples ranged from 1,000 to 7,000 micrograms per milliliter. In a 1972 report published in the Western Journal of Medicine, four men and four women each snorted two lines of white powder that was acid, not blow. She then reduced her dose of opioids and started microdosing LSD (taking about a quarter of a typical dose or 25 micrograms) every three days for a few years before completely stopping the morphine in January 2018, again without withdrawal symptoms.ĬB’s trip isn’t the most intense LSD overdose recorded or even the first time someone mistook LSD for cocaine. After her LSD overdose, not only had her pain evaporated, she felt no withdrawal symptoms from the opioids she had been taking.ĬB stopped taking morphine for five days, and then her pain did return. For seven years she had been taking morphine every day to treat symptoms of Lyme disease. When the drug finally wore off another 10 hours later, CB felt normal, and her chronic pain had completely disappeared. For the next 12 hours after that, CB said she felt “pleasantly high,” mostly sat in a chair, “frothing at the mouth, occasionally vocalizing random words and vomiting frequently,” according to Haden’s account. She mostly blacked out and vomited frequently, while being looked after by her roommate. It was a rollercoaster mega-trip that would last 34 hours. CB’s roommate weighed the remaining powder and estimated that she had snorted up 55 milligrams-550 times an average dose, enough to get an entire school tripping on acid. While LSD usually comes in a “blotter” form-tiny pieces of paper dabbed with scentless, clear liquid acid-the drug can also come in a potent white powder form, and is not hard to confuse with other powdered drugs. Fifteen minutes later, she realized something was wrong and called her roommate, who told her what had happened: She had inhaled part of his stash of LSD. CB snorted a line of white powder she thought was cocaine. The most remarkable case study included in the report is the 2015 story of a 46-year-old woman, who Haden calls CB, who had chronic pain caused by Lyme disease. Yet she experienced no pregnancy complications and her son, now 18 years old, is a perfectly healthy bright young student. Unbeknownst to her, she was two weeks pregnant. In his report, published in the Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs, Haden also includes the story of another individual at that infamous solstice party, a 26-year-old woman who only took half a glass (approximately 500 micrograms) of LSD. Haden says he was not only amazed that her symptoms resolved, but that such a high dose could ultimately be a positive experience. Looking back on the overdose, she said it felt like her brain chemistry had somehow been “reset.” Doctors followed her progress for over a year, and nearly two decades later, she still hasn’t experienced episodes of depression or mania outside of postpartum depression. A week later, her symptoms had still not returned. She clarified that no, her bipolar illness, which had caused daily major episodes, seemed to be cured. She told her dad, “It’s over.” He thought she meant the acid trip. The next morning, her father visited her in the hospital. Her friends thought she was having a seizure and called an ambulance, although no one was sure if she was actually seizing, lost consciousness or was just lost in the overwhelming experience. She lay on the floor in the fetal position tightly clenching her arms. For the next six hours, her behavior became erratic. She was one of the 20 people who accidentally OD’d on acid at the summer solstice party in Canada. One of the cases covered in Haden’s study was that of a 15-year-old girl with bipolar disorder. But what happens when people take extreme amounts of LSD? This is the subject of a new report co-authored by Mark Haden, the executive director of MAPS Canada and an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia, which looked at extreme cases of LSD consumption, revealing some bizarre health outcomes. This is how low concentrations of the drug can be so potent.īecause of this sensitivity, it can be easy to overdose on LSD. Because the LSD molecule, which mimics serotonin, has a “lid” that locks into serotonin receptors, it can remain there for hours. A trip can sometimes last 12 hours or more, pumping up heart rate, intensifying colors and sounds, and altering the perception of time. From the powerful opening theme "Again" by YUI to the melancholic ending theme "Uso" by SID, the music enhances the overall experience, leaving a lasting impression. The score by Akira Senju complements the emotional depth of the series. It's not just an action-packed anime it's a thought-provoking exploration of the human condition. The series seamlessly weaves philosophical discussions into its plot, inviting viewers to ponder the ethical implications of the characters' choices. The narrative delves into the nature of sacrifice, the consequences of playing God, and the price of seeking power. "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" is not afraid to tackle weighty themes. The attention to detail in the character designs and the diverse settings adds depth to the world of Amestris. The fluidity of the animation elevates the impact of the battles, making each confrontation a spectacle. The action sequences are a visual feast, with alchemy circles glowing and transmutations happening in real-time. The animation by Studio Bones is top-notch. The supporting cast is equally compelling, each with their own arcs that contribute to the overarching narrative. Alphonse, with their complex personalities and unwavering determination, anchor the series. The character development is where "Brotherhood" truly shines. The narrative unfolds like an intricate alchemical array, weaving political intrigue, moral dilemmas, and existential crises. The story revolves around two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, who, after a disastrous attempt to bring their mother back to life using alchemy, find themselves on a quest for the Philosopher's Stone to restore their bodies. "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" isn't just a show it's a narrative powerhouse. We're diving into an anime that's often hailed as one of the greatest of all time, "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood." Buckle up, because we're going deep into the world of alchemy, tragedy, and brotherhood. After years of training, the Elric brothers set off on a quest to restore their bodies by locating the Philosopher's Stone-a powerful gem that allows an alchemist to defy the traditional laws of Equivalent Exchange.Īs Edward becomes an infamous alchemist and gains the nickname "Fullmetal," the boys' journey embroils them in a growing conspiracy that threatens the fate of the world. Known as a bio-mechanical engineering prodigy, Winry creates prosthetic limbs for Edward by utilizing "automail," a tough, versatile metal used in robots and combat armor. The brothers are rescued by their neighbor Pinako Rockbell and her granddaughter Winry. Instead, they suffered brutal personal loss: Alphonse's body disintegrated while Edward lost a leg and then sacrificed an arm to keep Alphonse's soul in the physical realm by binding it to a hulking suit of armor. Ignoring the alchemical principle banning human transmutation, the boys attempted to bring their recently deceased mother back to life. After a horrific alchemy experiment goes wrong in the Elric household, brothers Edward and Alphonse are left in a catastrophic new reality. This cookie is set by GDPR Cookie Consent plugin. I’m excited for the game’s release in 2022, but for now I’m putting it back down. It’s a great preview of what could be a great game, but it’s not a full entrée in and of itself. Right now, Death Trash feels like a demo. I kept waiting for shinier loot and a sense of progression, but it never really came. At first, I was pleased with how streamlined items and inventory were, but enemies dropped the same things, like an old rifle, over and over. Occultism, which also sounds like a lot of fun - of course I want to know about the spooky, mysterious side of this already strange world - doesn’t seem to come up at all. But I couldn’t find another use for the skill in the game so far, so it feels like a point sink without purpose. For instance, animalism sounds fun, and it’s great to use worms as makeshift projectiles. Image: Crafting Legendsīut once you’re into the meat of things, cracks start to show in Death Trash’s early access build. The experience starts out with tons of promise, and does an amazing job of wooing you with the atmosphere of its early environments and the magnetism of its characters, like the lonely but friendly Fleshkraken. Instead, the game just gently asks you to come back for the full release sometime in 2022. There’s not a lot here - you can blitz through the main quest in around two hours, and there’s not a satisfying narrative conclusion to many quests. Unfortunately, a lot of Death Trash in its current early access form stops short of being really satisfying. I eventually turn into a stealth monster who shows up, backstabs my enemies, and vanishes back into the shadows without anyone noticing. The further I get into the game, the easier it is to break things. My character has to roll around to dodge shots, reload her rifle after every volley of return fire, and carefully use abilities like Shock or Stealth in order to survive. In fact, it’s fast, and at times desperate. While this game has tons in common with the old Fallouts and Wastelands, combat in Death Trash is not turn-based. As I travel, I often find myself confronted with raiders or cultists who want nothing more than to beat my ass for interrupting their day. Once I explore an area - a dungeon, settlement, or clearing - to my satisfaction, I head back to the overworld map. I can specialize in rifles, and stay back to whittle my enemies down with ranged fire, or forgo the hassle of ammo management and just beat people with blunt weapons. Tools like empathy allow me to explore further conversation options, while animalism lets me scoop up little fleshworms and fling them at my enemies. Much like other RPGs, I get a limited pool of points to send on stats and skills. Those quest breadcrumbs lead me along the path to more groups and larger storylines, and so on, until I’m really embroiled in a complex narrative ecosystem laden with mystery and danger. Along the way, I encounter small civilizations and groups of people who need help. I emerge from a bastion of safety and enter a hostile wasteland to scrape out a living. It’s a quick way to get accustomed to the weird world that awaits me out there.ĭeath Trash is an early access role-playing game by developer Crafting Legends that feels like a 2021 take on the original Fallout. That’s gonna come in handy, since these ancient machines need bio-material to operate. One of the first lessons I learn in Death Trash is that I can use my own puke as a resource, so I scrape my vomit off the floor and tuck it into my inventory.
